Xbox Project Scorpio, Microsoft’s console will be presented at E3

Microsoft, through a tweet, announced that the Xbox Project Scorpio will be presented on June 11 in a special event of E3

After the launch of the PlayStation 4 Pro and the Nintendo Switch also Microsoft announced the presentation of the new consoles. The Redmond company is slightly behind its competitors, but has assured that the new console will be the most powerful ever produced.

With a post on its Twitter account, the company has given an appointment to the industry press for June 11: the Xbox Project Scorpio will be presented in an ad hoc event during E3 2017 (Electronic Entertainment Expo), the trade show dedicated to the world of entertainment and video games that takes place every year in Los Angeles. The information about the technical features of the Xbox Scorpio are very few, the Redmond company so far has not leaked any news. One of the few certain news concerns the resolution: the console should support 4K.

What we will see at the Microsoft event on June 11

Although the spotlight will be on the Xbox Scorpio, it will not be the only novelty presented by Microsoft. The Redmond-based company has announced that video games exclusive to the new console will be presented, as well as some retro video games. For example, there will be a restored version of Phantom Dust, an action video game launched exclusively for the first Xbox model and which was a hit among gamers.
