Two pieces of news about the Xiaomi 11T Pro have come in a single tweet: the company's official account has revealed its super charging and launch date
It's always been pretty interesting Xiaomi's "Mi T" series - which is now simply "T" since the company decided to do away with the Mi suffix. And presumably so will be the Xiaomi 11T series, whose debut is a matter of a few days, if only because you can hardly find a device from the company that does not have a high value for money.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T and 9T Pro opened the dances in mid-2019, especially the first one that by virtue of excellent specifications in relation to the price was one of the most popular Xiaomi devices in the range. The success convinced Xiaomi to try again the following year with the Mi 10T range, positioned slightly higher than the previous one in terms of technical specifications and for this reason arrived with a "Lite" variant, that is, with lighter specifications and price. This year it is almost the turn of Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro, which according to rumors will maintain the higher profile inaugurated last year, especially the Pro variant of which surprises a feature in particular.
Xiaomi 11T Pro, there is a hyper-fast charging
Technical feature that has also been announced by Xiaomi itself in recent hours, through the global Twitter account. Two confirmations with a single tweet: first, that Xiaomi 11T Pro - and consequently 11T - will show itself to global markets during the event on Wednesday, September 15 (at 14 Italian time); second, that the 120 watt HyperCharge ultra-fast charging will be part of the technical baggage of Xiaomi 11T Pro.
Just two days ago an indiscretion informed how concrete the chances were that during the September 15 event the Xiaomi 11T range could come out, and in light of the Chinese company's tweet it emerges how the rumor was accurate: Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro will be presented to the world in exactly one week.
Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro of the "top" low cost?
Also with a nice treat, namely the HyperCharge 120 watts fast charging that Xiaomi has so far reserved for only one model, that Mix 4 that integrates the best technology that Xiaomi manages to put in the field to date. This may be a clue about the Xiaomi 11T Pro: the fact that the latter shares a very high-profile feature with the Xiaomi Mix 4, the most innovative product currently in the range, suggests that the company intends to offer a very well put together product on the technical side.
And while it's unlikely that the 11T Pro's entire technical baggage will share much in common with that of the Mix 4, if for no other reason than it would mean bringing their prices closer together as well, and Xiaomi's T series has never been particularly expensive, it's instead likely that designers have approached yet another "T" generation as a "Lite" version of the Xiaomi Mix 4, so with a few peaks (like the 120-watt HyperCharge) sandwiched in a high-end but not super-high-end technical prospectus to keep the price under control.
We have to wait a little while now to know the truth about the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro, but it's possible that Xiaomi will unveil a few more specs of the two before launch in order to keep the attention of fans high.
