Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 and Mi CC10: the two ghost smartphones

The two models of Xiaomi jump out from the code of a web page: their arrival could be close.

We talked about them, we waited for them but, to date, there seems to be no trace of them anywhere, not even among the rumors of the network. We're talking about two phantom smartphones, namely Xiaomi's Mi MIX 4 and Mi CC10; in fact, about two years after the release of their respective predecessors, they still haven't appeared on the market. Where do we stand?

For Xiaomi, 2021 could be the year of big results. In fact, it's only been a few days since the beginning of January that already the Chinese company has started rubbing its hands together over what looks to be a heralded success at least on paper. This is Xiaomi Mi 11 that, along with its smaller brother Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, would be ready to make a furore thanks to a perfect blend of technical features of the first category and an extremely low price, so much so that it can shake the competitors of the same range. Nothing detracts, however, that these releases can be added to the successors of the two smartphones still not known, especially in light of the clues found on the official website of Xiaomi.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 and Mi CC10, where were we?

It has been a lot of water under the bridge since the previous models of Mi MIX 4 and Mi CC10 were officially launched by Xiaomi. For Mi CC9, the debut dates back to the summer of 2019; after that, it was the turn of its evolved version, namely Mi CC9 Pro, which arrived in Europe with a different designation than in its native country, namely Xiaomi Mi Note 10. Again, though, we're talking about November 2019, well over a year ago.

The mystery thickens even more with regard to the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4. In fact, the last traces of its predecessor date back even to the fall of 2018, precisely in October at least as far as the presentation in China is concerned, until peeping on the Italian market in January of the following year. Two years after Mi MIX 3, however, no trace seems to want to give new hope for a launch at least in the near future.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 and Mi CC10, from the official site some faint hope?

A faint hope seems to come from the official site of Xiaomi, however.

It is not an official confirmation but, at least as a first step, it could be a good sign for a possible evolution to keep under control during the whole 2021. For the moment, however, we must wait and console ourselves with the other news coming, including the first clues about the new MIUI 13, already in the works despite the 12.5 is something quite recent, with the announcement dating back only a few weeks ago.
