Xiaomi launches a new model of wireless earphones in China, which we will probably also see in Europe: high tech at a low price and the debut of 360° audio in the Xiaomi range
After routing the competition in the smartphone sector and starting the campaign in the Smart TV sector as well, Xiaomi is now aiming straight for the heart of the wearable market with the Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 3 Pro, its new True Wireless headphones with active noise reduction (ANC). Just presented, these headphones already amaze for the technical characteristics and the price, excellent as per Xiaomi tradition.
As the suffix "Pro" suggests, these headphones are positioned at the top of the range Xiaomi and do so by offering a massive reduction of ambient noise and audio 360 °, a function comparable to the audio space of Apple, adopting a design type "in-ear" (the headset enters the ear canal and isolates it from the outside). Quality and listening comfort, therefore, are the first two business cards of these headphones. The third is the price, very low: in China the Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 3 Pro cost just 699 yuan, which at current exchange rates are equivalent to about 90 euros. If they arrive in Europe, and it is very likely, the price will be higher.
Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 3 Pro: technical characteristics
The first fact that impresses in the new wireless headphones of Xiaomi is the noise reduction: up to 40 dB, a very high value. A dual transparency mode is available, allowing the user to choose how much external noise to let through as needed.
Sensors built into the headphones track head movements, allowing you to implement 360-degree audio. It is not known, however, with which apps it will be possible to take advantage of this advanced feature.
The new Chinese headphones are also compatible with the LHDC 4.0 codec (Low Latency High-Definition Audio Codec), have an ergonomic design and are IP55 certified: they resist very well, therefore, both water splashes and dust. Thanks to the case with wireless charging, finally, the autonomy can reach a maximum of 27 hours.
Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 3 Pro: when they arrive
The new headphones Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 3 Pro have just been presented in China, where they are already pre-orderable. The actual availability there will be, however, only on October 9. The price, as mentioned, is 699 yuan (about 90 euros) and is lower than that of the current top of the range Xiaomi headphones, the FlipBuds Pro from 799 yuan (about 105 euros).
No official news, at the moment, about a possible arrival in other countries. Knowing the commercial policy of Xiaomi, and considering the fact that many other headphone models have already crossed the Chinese borders, it is very likely that the new Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 3 Pro will also arrive in Europe, with the trade name of Xiaomi Mi Air 3 Pro.
