The Flight Attendant, l'assistente di volo in Italian, is a U.S. TV series recently landed in the Sky Serie catalog and is also available for streaming on the online platform Now. It is based on the novel of the same name by Chris Bohjalian and stars Kaley Cuoco and other main actors Zosia Mamet, Michiel Huisman and Michelle Gomez.
Flight Attendant tells the eight-part story of Cassie, played by Kaley Cuoco, and how an entire life can suddenly change. Cassie is an inconsiderate stewardess who drinks on flights and spends her time with everyone. After a bender, she wakes up in a hotel room with the body of a man beside her, a passenger on the last flight, whose throat has been cut cleanly. La regina degli scacchi su Netflix
La mini serie La regina degli scacchi, disponibile su Netflix, racconta la storia di come una bambina prodigio, orfana, che riesce a cambiare la sua vita affrontando mille ostacoli, dagli otto ai ventidue anni, fino ad arrivare a diventare un vero e proprio maestro degli scacchi.
Una storia appassionante, resa più complessa, soprattutto dalle dipendenze da alcool, come accade alla protagonista Cassie in l’assistente di volo, e psicofarmaci di Beth Harmon, la protagonista. Questa serie ha vinto nel 2021 due Golden Globe: come mini serie e come miglior attrice.
Criminal Minds
La serie Criminal Minds è terminata da tempo, ma non possiamo non considerarla al pari per suspense e colpi di scena come nell’assistente di volo. Qua abbiamo l’FBI che indaga su crimini seriali e al centro vi è la BAU, una unità speciale di analisi criminale. Quello che cattura di Criminal minds è il fatto che si cerchi d’immedesimarsi sul profilo del serial killer come mai avvenuto in nessun altra serie prima. Si cerca vedere il suo lato umano con errori e fragilità, tutto per capirlo ed evitare nuovi omicidi.
