LG unveils its new "All Day Gram" notebook series at CES in Las Vegas. Ultra-light and with a record battery life: an entire day
"All Day Gram". The name says it all: "All day", or an entire day - referring to the battery - and "Gram", or gram. LG, in fact, has managed to design ultra-portable, very high performance, weighing less than 900 grams with a battery that never leaves us in the lurch.
Only one model in the family of LG, in fact, is really able to stay nice and lively for 24 hours. That's the 13.3-inch Gram with an Intel Core i3 processor and a 60 Wh battery. The larger 14-inch and 15.6-inch Gram with Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, even in light of the slightly higher performance, last a little less long, 23 and 22 hours respectively (again with a 60 Wh battery). It is, in any case, a great success, if you compare the specifications with other similar models and considering that they weigh very little indeed. The family "All Day Gram" is composed, in total, of eight models all with different technical specifications.

The three models just mentioned with display 13.3, 14 and 15.6 inches and full HD resolution (1,920×1,080 pixels) weigh, in fact, respectively 940, 970 and 1,090 grams. The 15.6-inch Gram is offered with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512GB SSD. The 14-inch Gram features 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, while the smaller 13.3-inch model is available in versions with 4 or 8GB of RAM. The operating system is Windows 10 Home and prices range from $1,100 to $2,000.
Lightweight ultraportable computers
Those who want to spend a little less can opt for the "ultralight" versions of LG's new wearables. These are, in practice, the same models just mentioned, but they offer less performing components such as a battery that lasts less than 34 Wh, RAM memory not exceeding 8GB and a processor no higher than a Core i5. The advantage, however, is that they are lighter, coming in at up to 830 grams. There are also two top-of-the-line models with touch screens and fingerprint sensors.
