Google's smart screen arrives in Italy with the clear goal of becoming the digital "king" of the home. Here are its technical specifications and features
Initially they were greeted with more than a few suspicions. Perhaps still immature and with a design that wasn't too refined, the very first smart screens put into circulation had to suffer a reception that was anything but warm. Equipped with a 7-inch display (with bezels a bit 'abundant, to tell the truth), the Nest Hub looks like a tablet merged with a speaker without cables. The device developed by Mountain View is this and, of course, much more: it can be used to listen to music with one of the many compatible audio streaming services (YouTube Premium, Spotify and others), watch videos on YouTube, control the devices of the smart home, automatically receive information about your day (thanks to the routines of Google Assistant) and turn into a 360° home assistant. Available in dual color light gray and charcoal gray, the Nest Hub a 7-inch touchscreen display (1024×600 pixel resolution) resting on a parallelepiped-shaped base/speaker. Rather compact, Google's smart screen weighs less than a pound and can be easily placed on any piece of furniture in the home.
