Xiaomi is ready to launch the Mi 10 Ultra, top-of-the-line smartphone with the Snapdragon 865+ chipset and 108 Megapixel camera on board
Xiaomi has set an appointment for August 11 for the presentation of new smartphones to celebrate the tenth anniversary since its birth. And to best honor such an event will present a device with truly unique technical features: the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra. This is a smartphone of which we have spoken very little yet, because it rose to the honor of the chronicles only in recent weeks.
As you can guess from the name, however, will be a unique device of its kind. It will be part of the Xiaomi Mi 10 family, but it will differ in many ways starting with the screen size and the photo compartment. In recent hours have appeared on the network of images depicting the cover of the Mi 10 Ultra and jumps to the eye a detail: a very large space for the photo compartment. This suggests that Xiaomi has done things in a big way and that the smartphone has at least five sensors, including a periscope for zoomed photos. In addition, on the cover there is also the writing "100x Infinity Zoom", another indication that the photo compartment will be the real strength of the device.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, the data sheet
Great news about the characteristics of the smartphone we do not have any, but it is possible image that we are faced with a device with premium features, well above those of a normal top of the range. On board there will almost certainly be the Snapdragon 865+ chipset with at least 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The screen should be quite large (above 6.5 inches) with a hole in the top right corner where the front-facing camera is inserted.
The photo compartment will be the highlight of the device. The leaked images on the net show a nice big space in the back cover for the photo compartment, a sign that there will be at least four, if not five sensors. The main one should be 108 megapixels, if not even higher, with support for a wide-angle camera and a periscope sensor with up to 100x zoom. The other two sensors could be used for macro shots and depth of field.
The battery will also be important: 5000mAh with super-fast wireless charging. The fingerprint reader will be placed under the display.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, price and release date
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra will be unveiled on August 11 in China and might not debut in Europe until late fall. As for the price, it will hardly be cheap: you could easily exceed 1000 euros.
