The South Korean manufacturer has announced the 2017 Samsung A3, A5 and A7. The new versions of the A-series will be presented at CES in Las Vegas and put on sale from mid-January
Samsung is back in the news. This time to end up under the magnifying glass is not the Galaxy S8, the next top of the range of the South Korean company, but the new A-series devices: the Galaxy A3, the Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7 2017.
Samsung has in fact announced the three smartphones that will be presented to the general public on January 5 during CES in Las Vegas 2017. Taking a look at the technical specifications, the new Galaxy A series devices will be water and dust resistant thanks to the IP68 standard. Also interesting is the photographic compartment that, according to what Samsung anticipates in the note, will be able to return stable and quality shots even in low light conditions. The A7 and A5 will have a 16 megapixel rear camera, while the A3 will have a 13 MP rear camera. The three new phones will then have a metal body and will be available in 4 colors.
Samsung Galaxy A3
Let's now get into the details of the internal specifications of the three new smartphones starting with the Samsung Galaxy A3. The new A-family device will have a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display and will mount the Exynos 7870 Octa-core processor with 1.6 GHz frequency. The Samsung A3 will have an internal storage space of 16 gigabytes, extendable with MicroSD up to 256 GB, and a RAM memory of 2 GB. On the photo front, the A3 will have a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8 MP front-facing camera. The device will support the dual-sim standard and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Other features include the fingerprint sensor and support for USB type-C port.
Samsung Galaxy A5
In comparison to the previous model, the Samsung Galaxy A5 will have a larger display with a better resolution. In fact, the device mounts a 5.2-inch Full HD super AMOLED screen. As for the processor, the smartphone integrates an Exynos 7880 with a frequency of 1.8 GHz. The Samsung Galaxy A5 will have an internal memory of 32 GB and a RAM memory of 3 gigabytes. What is most surprising about this phone is definitely the 16-megapixel front camera that equals the pixels of the rear one. And like the A3, the Samsung Galaxy A5 will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, will support USB type C port, will be dual-sim and will have the integrated biometric reader.
Samsung Galaxy A7
We end with the "top of the line" of smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy A series.
