Samsung announces the Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50s, two new mid-range smartphones with a very interesting graphics compartment. Here are the features
Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50s, the two low-cost variants of the Galaxy A 2019 series, the mid-range smartphones unveiled last February at Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona. The Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50s are almost identical to the previous two phones, but they are distinguished by a new design and a new photo compartment. Unseen is the back cover of the two smartphones, characterized by a pattern with holographic effect emphasized by four new colors: Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Green and Prism Crush Violet.
The display of the Galaxy A50s is the 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U with Full HD+ resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, the same used on the Galaxy A50. The 32 MegaPixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture is embedded in a teardrop-shaped notch. Super AMOLED Infinity-V 6.4-inch screen with HD+ resolution of 1560×720 pixels for the Galaxy A30s which, compared to the A30 sacrifices the display resolution by switching from FHD+ to HD+ in the name of autonomy. Finally, 16-megapixel front camera also with f/2.0 aperture.
Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s: the new photo compartment
The new variants of the Galaxy A 2019 series make the photo compartment their strong point. As many as three cameras present in the rear shell of the phone. The Galaxy A50s is equipped with 48 MegaPixel sensors and f/2.0 focal aperture, an 8 MegaPixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 focal aperture and a third 5 MegaPixel sensor dedicated exclusively to depth of field with an aperture also f/2.2.

The Galaxy A50s sports an Exynos 9610 processor with 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of storage expandable up to 512 GB using a microSD card. Exynos 7904 processor, 3 to 4 GB RAM, 32/64/128 GB storage and microSD slot for the Galaxy A30s.
Connectivity is provided by WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and LTE (dual SIM) modules. The fingerprint reader is integrated under the display, while battery life is provided by a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 15-watt fast charging. Finally, USB Type-C port, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. The operating system is Android 9 Pie with One UI interface.
Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s: release date and price
The Galaxy A30s will be available from late September at a price of 329.99 euros. No information, however, for the Galaxy A50s.
