Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is closer than ever to unveiling: here's the latest rumor framing the Fan Edition's European pricing
The never-ending Samsung Galaxy S21 FE chapter is coming to an end. Samsung's Fan Edition launch this year proved to be more difficult than ever, but now, after a thousand vicissitudes, we should finally be there. And that's why rumors are becoming more and more accurate about pricing as well.
According to information obtained by winfuture.de, Galaxy S21 FE will have a more competitive list price in Europe than was speculated in the past weeks, when the fear generated by rumors was that Samsung's Fan Edition would cost more than the current prices of the "standard" Galaxy S21. If that had been the case, intuitively Galaxy S21 FE would have been cut off from its sibling that debuted in early 2021 with a high list price (over 800 euros) but that over the months has been - like all smartphones - subject to devaluation. Today you can take one home around 700 euros, and sometimes it even falls below this figure.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, the European price
If Samsung Galaxy S21 FE debuted in January with similar features to the "standard" S21 but with a higher list price, it would actually be cut off from the market.
Samsung is aware of this and according to winfuture.de would have adjusted the list price: Galaxy S21 FE should arrive in Germany at 649 euros for the variant with 128 GB of storage space and 699 euros for the one with double the internal memory, 256 GB.
It's likely that Italian prices will be a little higher (10 or 20 euros more) due to higher taxation, but colleagues say that anyway Galaxy S21 FE prices in Europe should be around that, so Samsung's Fan Edition would be priced quite competitively already at launch, scheduled for January 2022.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, what to expect
On the specifications of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE there have been several rumors in the past months, thanks to which we can already draw a picture of how the "fan" smartphone will be. The company could repropose the rotation between the best chip of its division, the Exynos 2100, and the best one produced by Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
On board there should be a large 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate, 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage space, enough to keep the memories captured with the cameras. Three are expected at the rear, the same as the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+: 12 MP main, 12 MP ultra wide-angle and 64 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom.
Complete the picture is the fingerprint reader under the screen, audio with Dolby Atmos support, IP68 certification against water and dust and a battery that should be 4,500 mAh with fast charging at 25 watts and reverse charging support.
