Samsung has started the release of the new Android 11-based One UI 3.0 interface also for the latest smartphone in the Galaxy S20 series: what's new
The update to Samsung's Android 11-based One UI 3.0 is also coming to the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition. The new interface has a refined and simple design, providing users with a better browsing experience and above all greater customization of the Home, Lock and Quick Panel screens.
The update to the latest version of the One UI 3.0 interface developed by Samsung for its devices is arriving early for the latest of the Galaxy S20 series models, as it was initially scheduled to be released between January and February 2021. The release of the update, which in addition to the novelties of the GUI also contains the security patch of December 2020, had begun in recent weeks for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra. The interface also offers redesigned widgets for music playback and new features for digital wellness and parental control.
One UI 3.0: all the new features in the interface
Waiting for the arrival of the next top of the range Galaxy S21, Samsung has redesigned the One UI 3.0 graphical interface to offer users of the Galaxy S20 series a sleek design for the Home and lock screens, so that more organization is possible and increasingly improved navigation. Also among the new features is an optimization to encourage crossing between tablets, PCs and smartphones, so that switching between devices in the Galaxy ecosystem feels as natural as possible.
Among the new features in One UI 3.0 are new widgets for the lock screen, affecting both notifications and the music player. As for video calls, however, they'll get a new layout with stickers and animations.
Samsung has also refined its Quick Panel, so you can allow for more customization and be able to keep all of your most-used functions at your fingertips. Finally, the new One UI 3.0 helps improve your digital well-being: thanks to statistics and new features you will be able to make a more conscious use of your devices.
One UI 3.0: which smartphones receive updates
At the moment, the update for the Galaxy S20 FE has been released in Russia and in the coming weeks it will be released in other markets as well. In un primo momento, Samsung aveva programmato questo update nella sua roadmap per il periodo tra gennaio e febbraio, ma l’azienda sudcoreana è riuscita ad anticiparlo.
