Activision releases weekly patch with updates for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Mobile. Here's what's new
New week, new update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Mobile, the three titles on which Activision is betting a lot, obtaining excellent results, as shown by the over 60 million downloads for the new battle royale. Every week Activison publishes a patch with the new content available for the three videogames, a way to keep the players' attention high and to make the games more fun.
The patch is quite substantial and brings new maps in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare playlist, new modes and some changes in Call of Duty: Warzone, a new class and new challenges to unlock weapons in Call of Duty Mobile. As you've guessed, this is an update that will characterize the coming weeks of play on Activision's three titles.
New maps in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare playlist
Let's start with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Activision has released a new bundle that can be purchased that includes two weapons and a new skin to use in the game. Also present are 10 other items that can be used to customize your character. Also added two new maps in the playlist: Hardhat and Aisle 9. The former is available in the 24/7 playlist and features tight spaces that lead to a frenetic pace. The Aisle 9 map is included in the personal playlist and can host 3 vs 3 matches, Deatch Match and all other game modes.
Call of Duty: Warzone, what's new this week
Classic weekly rotation for Call of Duty: Warzone game modes. Starting May 18, foursomes, triplets and a new "solo" mode called Classic Battle Royale will be available in Battle Royale mode, where there are no buying stations, no contracts and no Gulag. The "Most Wanted" contracts, added a few weeks ago but immediately removed, have been reinserted. News also regarding the items that can be purchased or found in the crates: the Armor Box has been introduced that allows all members of the team to have the armor to the maximum. New automatic weapons have been added in the Gulag, starting with the Kilo 141 and ending with the MP5. In addition, tiles that allow the opening of bunkers should also have been added.
As for Malloppo, the quartet mode has been re-inserted and the objective is always to collect as much money as possible.
Call of Duty: Mobile, what's new
Small news also regarding the title for smartphones. Introduced the new Battle Royale class: Poltergeist that allows you to have two skills. Also coming are new challenges that allow you to unlock additional weapons.
