A player has discovered a bug on Fortnite that makes you immortal: just wear a simple skin and no enemy can inflict damage
The tenth season of Fortnite apparently is full of surprises. In the previous weeks there was a big debate about the power of Brute mechs, which according to players distorted the philosophy of the game because of their devastating power. Epic Games, the software house that developed Fortnite, has been forced to depower them and agree with the players.
Now comes a new news that could upset the world of Fortnite. Apparently, a well-known streamer (players who broadcast live on Twitch and similar platforms their games) has discovered a bug that would allow you to be immortal. The "fault" would be some skins available to all players, which would provide immunity against damage caused by a variety of weapons, including those that normally involve devastating effects.
Fortnite: the discovery of the bug
The discovery was made by Fortnite player DramaLlamaNite and revealed to all fans of the online video game through a video posted on Reddit (social platform widely used in the United States). The streamer shows in the video how a basic skin subjected to the attack of the mighty weapon Junk Rift is not even scratched. Recall that the Junk Rift is a very powerful weapon that can be thrown like a normal grenade but is able to open a "slit" in the sky capable of pouring objects and waste on the heads of enemies with deadly effects, as well as causing extensive damage to structures.
Also in the video posted on Reddit, the player describes how, on the other hand, a simple firearm can cause damage to the player wearing the same skin. The very peculiar fact suggests that there is a different reaction depending on the weapon used and that the default skin is not so immune to all available armaments.

Now it is unclear whether the bug was sporadic or could reoccur at any moment, currently Epic Games has not released any statement on the matter. What is certain is that many players could take advantage of this particular ploy and gain a number of benefits during their gaming sessions. If, on the contrary, the bug is extremely widespread, the developers should already be running for cover. To find out more, we just have to wait for the reaction of the US production company.
