Samsung is ready to launch the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition, a low-cost smartphone with top-of-the-line features. Here's how much it costs
The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition, the budget version of Samsung's top of the line, is getting closer and closer. This time it's leaker OnLeaks that has published renders of what the device should look like. Usually these are images based on anticipations released online and that in the end always turn out to be very similar to how the smartphone will really be. In addition to the photos on how the device will be, come also other confirmations on the characteristics of the device.
It is to all intents and purposes a top of the range, as guaranteed by the presence on board the chipset Snapdragon 865. The presence of this processor also provides additional information: the smartphone will support 5G. In recent days, however, has also appeared online another certification obtained by the device, with the Exynos 990 chipset on board. This is the same present on the Galaxy S20 and this could mean the existence of a second model without 5G support and with a much lower price. As for the price, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE could be launched at around 600 euros. Coming in October.

We've been talking about it for quite some time now and the Galaxy S20 FE finally seems ready to debut on the market. The name seems to be confirmed: the appellation will be "Fan Edition" that goes to replace the "Lite" used for the Galaxy S10 launched at the beginning of the year.
Let's move on to the technical sheet. On board we find the Snapdragon 865 chipset (there could also be a version with Exynos 990) with to support 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The screen should be 6.4-6.5 inches with FullHD + resolution and hole placed in the center of the display.
The rear cameras will be three. The main one will not be 50 Megapixel as initially speculated, but 12 Megapixel, supported by a wide-angle lens also 12 Megapixel. Finally, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom. The front camera is 32 Megapixels.
The battery should be 4500mAh with fast charging. The fingerprint reader is located below the display. The back cover is made of plastic with metal side frame.

The smartphone is expected to hit the market in October, although it is likely to be delayed by a few weeks. The price of the Galaxy S20 FE is expected to be around 600 euros. In case the version without 5G support is also launched, the price could be below 500 euros.
