The portion of the rear surface that contains the cameras, for example, is the focus of one of the two official anticipations of the last hours.

The other official image depicts the entire rear surface of the smartphone, held in plain sight by the popular Chinese actor Gong Jun (in the opening photo) that will be the testimonial of the Honor 50 range. In short, about a week after the launch of secrets on the back surface there are very few left, including colors: black, green, pink and silver are those that will be available in China, as per the official announcement. However, it is not obvious that the Honor 50 will also be sold in other markets such as Europe, on the contrary: it remains to be seen whether the new ownership, which a few months ago took command of the brand born from an initiative of Huawei, intends to exploit the existing distribution channels in the Old Continent to market the Honor 50 and other products that will arrive in the future.

The "yellow" of the Honor 50 chip

The official launch of Honor 50 has already been scheduled for June 16 next year. Meanwhile, in addition to the advertising images distributed directly by Honor in preview, come information from Geekbench, among the most famous benchmark portals worldwide.

From that platform come several information on the technical configuration of at least one of the Chinese smartphones, in particular the one with the product code RNA-AN00 that unfortunately we can not trace with certainty to any component of the range in particular.

We still don't know too much about it, but according to many people the code seen on Geekbench would be referable to both Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro, which would then arrive with the chip detected by Geekbench, yes produced by Qualcomm but different from the one we've talked about so far.

No Snapdragon 888, which remains the main candidate for Honor 50 Pro+, but a chip of slightly lower range. On the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro, aka RNA-AN00, Geekbench detected the presence of a Qualcomm chip with a frequency of 1.8 GHz: a value not compatible with Snapdragon 888 but with Snapdragon 778G.

The Honor 50 revolving around the 100

Beyond the chip, thanks to the images distributed by the company itself we know that some Honor 50 - intuitively the most powerful in the range - will have a 100-megapixel camera, an edge-curved display and a fast charging system of as much as 100 watts, a power to say the least surprising for very fast recharges.

For the rest, the rumors of recent weeks have already outlined some of the key features of Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro. Expected are a 50-megapixel camera and 66-watt fast charging on the former and 100-megapixel and 100-watt fast charging on the latter, all handled by the Snapdragon 778G chip from today's rumor.

Also, the Honor 50 range should also consist of the cheaper Honor 50 SE variant and another one at the antipodes, Honor 50 Pro+, which remains expected with the Snapdragon 888. It's still unclear whether the top-of-the-line will also be unveiled on June 16 along with its smaller siblings.
