An anticipation of evleaks allows you to discover many details of the photographic compartment of the Huawei P40 Pro, which will have as many as 7 cameras
It will arrive only at the end of March 2020 the P40 Pro, next top-of-the-line smartphone from Huawei, but the wait is now very high because of one of its features: the 7 (yes, seven!) integrated cameras that will make this device the new benchmark among the cameraphone throughout this year, just started.
And, by the way, just in these hours begin to emerge very interesting details about this model, thanks to the known (and so far very reliable) leaker @evleaks who has published on Twitter some renderings of this smartphone. From the renderings we can also derive some very important technical features on the photographic lenses that Huawei would have decided to integrate, which together with the other technical specifications already leaked will make this smartphone one of the most coveted devices by technology enthusiasts. Of course, as always when it comes to leaks and rumors, caution must prevail over everything: this is information not officially confirmed. But, as already mentioned, in this case the source is reliable.
Huawei P40 Pro: the seven cameras
The seven cameras of the Huawei P40 Pro will be distributed as follows: two at the front and five at the rear. The front two will be integrated into a hole in the screen, while the rear five grouped into a single module that also incorporates the dual LED flash. The render published by @evleaks has a very obvious writing inside the rear photo module: LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX-H 1:1.8-4.0/18-240 ASPH.
The optics will therefore be of the German Leica, while the main photo sensor will be 52 MP f/1.8 with 10X periscopic optical zoom. Other sensors will include an 18mm wide-angle lens and a ToF type to calculate depth of field. There will probably also be a second, non-periscopic zoom lens. At the moment, nothing else is known about the impressive photo department of the Huawei P40 Pro.
Huawei P40 Pro: technical specifications
Outside the photo department, Huawei's P40 Pro will still be a great smartphone. It should have a 6.5-inch OLED screen, most likely curved, a Kirin 990 SoC, 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. Remarkable also the battery, 5,000 mAh with very fast charging: up to 50 Watts. There will be no audio jack, but only a USB-C port.
Huawei P40: when it comes out and how much it costs
The next Huawei P40 will be presented on March 26, certainly in at least two versions and maybe even three: there will also be a non-Pro version (which should have a flat screen and not curved), a "normal" P40 Pro and perhaps a ceramic P40 Pro. Still nothing is known about the prices, but with such technical features we can expect them to be very high.
