The official presentation is still a few days away but, as is now customary in the world of smartphones and other technological gadgets, of the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition we already know everything. Announced by the CEO of the Chinese manufacturer last week, the new top of the range of OnePlus is the result of a collaboration with the Formula 1 racing team and famous automotive brand McLaren.
Not surprising, then, that the entire promotional campaign and launch was played on the theme of speed. The Chinese smartphone, in fact, is proposed as the most snappy Android device on the market. And not only in terms of performance "naked and raw", but also in terms of charging speed. OnePlus, in fact, introduces a new fast charging system that promises to work miracles, or almost, and make unnecessary peripherals such as portable batteries. And indeed, reading the data sheet of the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition you get the distinct feeling that you're dealing with the best Android smartphone of 2018. At least on paper.

From a purely aesthetic point of view the new Chinese top of the range is identical in every way to the OnePlus 6T launched a few weeks ago: the only changes that the designers have allowed themselves are at the level of livery. To celebrate the partnership, in fact, to the standard black have been added some orange inserts, the same color as the Formula 1 car of McLaren.
Inside the technicians and engineers OnePlus have had fun to change the old technical specifications to make the OnePlus 6T even faster. Next to the "usual" Snapdragon 845, in fact, we will find as many as 10 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of storage space. Another feather in the cap will be, as mentioned, the fast charging system. Dubbed Warp Charge, it promises to provide enough energy for the autonomy of 1 day in just 20 minutes of charging.
OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, output and prices
The official presentation of the device is scheduled for next December 11 at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, the historic headquarters of the car company. As per OnePlus tradition, the device is likely to go on sale immediately on the website and other official channels. On the price OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, however, is not yet given to know anything. Probable that the policy of low prices (for the technical specifications of the devices, of course) will not change, but there will be a slight upward trend due to the better specifications and exclusive partnership.
