Pixel 6 potrebbe arrivare in contemporanea con un caricatore, Pixel Stand, completamente rinnovato. To say so is an analysis of the code of Android 12 beta 2 that, if it were to be confirmed, would put on the plate a charging cradle evolved compared to the past, equipped with wireless but also with fans to dissipate the heat generated
To give the news was the site 9to5google, through an exploration of the operating system by Dylan Roussel where the accessory was recalled with the name "Luxuryliner". The first version of this particular Google charger is now already a few years old, 2018 to be precise. It was the first charger with Qi technology capable of supporting 10W charging on two of the devices made by Big G, namely Pixel 3 and 3 XL. With a distinctive format, able to accommodate the phones by allowing the screen to be displayed while charging, it can still boast the opportunity to leverage the devices' displays on par with an alarm clock, digital picture frames or smart screens, complete with access to Google Assistant. What changes with the new model?
Pixel Stand, how it will work
Reading the Android 12 code, it's already possible to start taking a closer look at what the next Pixel Stand will look like. The timing, similar to those that should see the market launch of the next iteration of Pixel, inevitably suggest a combined presentation between the two new products of Big G.
A fundamental detail, as anticipated, is that of wireless charging. Certainly not a novelty, if not for the power that could exceed the 10W of the previous specimens. To lean towards this option, the addition of a fan cooling system to disperse the heat of the smartphone and the process itself, similarly to what already happens with the proposal of OnePlus, Warp, which uses an identical mechanism reaching the 50W.
Although there are no specific references, in the code there are some indications relating to the settings of the speed. It will be enough to say "Hey Google", for example, to decrease the rpm, so as to decrease the noise generated by the fan. This will be handy when using the Google Recorder app, exclusive to Pixel, which will be able to record voices and sounds by taking advantage of a slowed down - and less noisy - setting for dissipation.
Pixel Stand, fan features
In addition to the profile dedicated to "Sleep Mode", that is, silent so as not to disturb sleep with the fan's rustling, users will be able to use manual controls. Three of them have been identified, called "Auto", "Quiet" and "Power Boost"; the last one suggests an increased speed to meet the needs of a more powerful charge but, at the same time, able to reach higher temperatures.
