Not only premium smartphones with high prices and record-breaking photo compartments. During the event for the tenth birthday, Xiaomi also gave space to other smartphones, with lesser features but still very interesting. To take the stage was the Redmi K30 Ultra, launched in China under the name of "Extreme Commemorative Edition". If the Mi 10 Ultra has amazed everyone for its performance, the Redmi K30 Ultra does it for the price: the version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory costs just under 250 euros.
A price with which you usually buy a mid-range smartphone and not a top of the range capable of ensuring very high performance. On board is the Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ chipset that also ensures support for the 5G network. As for RAM and internal memory it varies depending on the four available models. One of the strong points of the device is the screen and the design: very thin bezels and camera with pop-up system that pops out of the top bezel only when needed.
The technical data sheet of the Redmi K30 Ultra
It does not reach the same performance as the Mi 10 Ultra, but we are still faced with a very powerful device. The Redmi K30 Ultra is based on a Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ processor made with a 7-nanometer process. Supporting 6-8GB of RAM and 128-256-512GB of internal storage. The screen is 6.67 inches with FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. As mentioned, the display is definitely one of the strengths of the device: the refresh rate so high allows maximum fluidity of use.
The photographic compartment is good, but not exceptional. The main sensor is 64 Megapixels, with support for a 13 Megapixel wide-angle lens, a 5 Megapixel camera for macro photos and a final 2 Megapixel sensor for depth of field.
