Samsung has reached an agreement with McAfee. The protection software will be available on Samsung's Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, PCs and smart TVs
McAfee is one of the best-known companies on the cybersecurity front. Its products protect from viruses and malware computers and in recent years also tablets, smartphones and smart TVs. It's no coincidence that Samsung chose it to protect its electronic devices.
Usersersers who choose the South Korean company's devices, in fact, will no longer have to worry about looking for antivirus. The protection software will be preinstalled, thanks to the agreement reached with McAfee, on Samsung's smartphones, PCs, and TVs. Smart TVs will receive McAfee Security for TV, which is already available in the US and South Korea. The protection system will then be extended to other markets, according to the latest information. As for smartphones, however, McAfee Virus Scan will be preinstalled on Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. However, the program will also be available for the other mobile devices of the Galaxy family.
Live Safe Secuirty for Computers
McAfee's protection will not be missing on computers produced by the South Korean company either. Live Safe Security will be installed on PCs and will include a free sixty-day trial period. In short, Samsung users can breathe a sigh of relief: their devices will be able to count on the protection offered by the Californian company expert in cybersecurity.
Having a protection software pre-installed is of fundamental importance, as it reduces the risks of being hit by hackers at the first internet connection. Especially if you use a computer to surf the web. It only takes a few minutes to infect a PC without antivirus software. And a similar discourse applies to smartphones, normally more secure, and smart TVs.
