New problems for Skype: the messaging service is down all over the World, but most of the problems are concentrated in Eastern Europe
Skype is down again all over the World: from 11:30 a.m. a large number of users began to report the inability to send and receive messages. It's not the first time that Microsoft's instant messaging application has been completely down: on June 20, it was the victim of a DDoS attack by a group of hackers.
The problems have been confirmed by Skype itself, in addition to the hundreds of messages posted online by users. In a message on the application's website, Skype warns that at the moment it is not possible to send or receive messages. Online you can also check the map updated in real time with the various reports sent by users: Skype è down soprattutto nell’Europa dell’Est (Bielorussia, Ucraina), nel Regno Unito e Belgio. Per il momento in Italia i problemi sono circoscritti alle grandi città: Roma, Milano e Firenze.

I problemi di Skype potrebbero essere causati da un attacco hacker, come già successo lo scorso 20 giugno. Ma al momento non ci sono notizie al tal senso. Sull’account Twitter del Cyberteam, il gruppo hacker che fece partire l’attacco DDoS a giugno, non c’è nessun tweet e nessuna rivendicazione. Molto probabilmente il problema è legato ai server di Skype che non riescono a processare tutte le richieste degli utenti. Nelle prossime ore se ne saprà sicuramente di più
