For Valentine's Day, Fortnite users will find six new challenges to tackle that will allow them to receive prizes and a special love-themed skin
Where to spend Valentine's Day evening? Simple, on Fortnite. Epic Games, the software that created the most popular game of the moment, is preparing a nice surprise to its users: a week of challenges themed Valentine's Day. The event should start on February 12, the day in which the update to version 7.40 should be released. In addition to the Valentine's Day challenges, Fortnite is also expected to introduce new skins and emotes.
Epic Games has yet to announce anything official about the Valentine's Day event, but users have unearthed information in the source code of the 7.30 update released last week. The event is supposed to be divided into six different daily challenges that will allow users to get exclusive skins, weapons and character upgrades as gifts. According to what has been unearthed by the users themselves, the skin on which the week of events will be focused will be the Dark Love Ranger. For the occasion, the skin will be put on sale in the online store.
Valentine's Day Fortnite event: what to expect
Epic Games has not provided information on the themes of the challenges of Valentine's Day, so it is difficult to make predictions. Certainly you will need to complete particular objectives to receive rewards (pickaxe, standard and hang glider). Users will also find new emote skins, power-ups and various accessories all with a love theme. The event should be very similar to what Epic Games has done in recent weeks for the Chinese New Year and the Superbowl, with dedicated skins added to the online store.
