All this will be possible thanks to the new update of the chat app now in the hands of Facebook. The latest version of WhatsApp, 2.17.2, will bring the new feature with Siri to users of a smartphone running at least iOS 10.3. Thanks to this new feature, all we have to do is activate Siri and the personal assistant will read for us all the notifications left pending within the messaging app. In this way it will be much easier, and faster, to manage our conversations. It will also be much safer to listen to messages from friends and family if we were driving or had our hands full.
New Functions
The app update also brings with it additional novelties related to several useful functions for users. In the Status section we will now be able to reply to multiple stories at once, or select them to delete them. In addition, the call icon has been replaced with an intuitive "+". Just select it to choose the contact to call. The interface for two-step verification has also been redesigned so that it's easier for users to set it up. The Group Info, Contact Info and Calls sections have also undergone a redesign that makes them essential and intuitive. Finally, support for Persian language within the chats has been added.
