WhatsApp is updating its algorithms of its Android version to implement the function of quick response in group chats, here's how to use it
After some time finally WhatsApp has decided to also provide on Android the function of direct quick response, ie the message addressed exclusively to a contact, within groups. This is a function that has been present for a long time in the iOS version of the app but was missing on the robot device.
At the moment, the update with the new function to respond quickly via "swipe" button in groups to a particular contact is available on iOS and on the beta version of WhatsApp for Android, but the developers of the famous messaging application have made it known that in the next few hours an update will be released to allow all users with smartphones with Google OS to use the direct quick response in group chats. To have also on our phone the new feature so it is important to go to the Google Play Store of our device and in the tab dedicated to WhatsApp tap on the update button to install the latest available version of the application. Here's how the quick reply to a single contact on WhatsApp works.
How the quick reply works on WhatsApp for Android
Using the quick reply on WhatsApp is quite simple. In version 2.18.300 for Android, the function will be identical to the one already used by iPhone and iPad users. Just swype the message from right to left, wait a few moments and start typing your reply. After sending it, in the chat screen will appear a small thumbnail of the message on which you swype (a sort of quote, if you will) followed by your answer. The user who typed the message will receive a notification that you quoted him, while all other chat participants will know what message your reply was referring to.
