WhatsApp, why your account is blocked

WhatsApp is blocking profiles using fake apps like WhatsApp Plus and GB WhatsApp. What to do when your WhatsApp account is suspended

"You have been temporarily suspended from WhatsApp because you may have violated the terms of use for the service. You will be able to use it again in" . If when you log into your WhatsApp account, the application shows you this message followed by a timer, then it means that you have been temporarily banned and can neither send nor receive messages.

What is the reason for the account suspension? There are many reasons for this, but in most cases it is because you are using an unofficial version of WhatsApp. Many users download a modified version of WhatsApp from third-party stores that promises to offer premium features, such as the ability to change themes or use different fonts. Such applications, however, are not developed by WhatsApp and do not offer the same security standards. It could be very easy for a hacker to steal images and videos shared with their friends. The two WhatsApp fake apps that are most downloaded by users are GB WhatsApp and WhatsApp Plus. If WhatsApp has suspended your account, you are most likely using one of these two applications.

What do you have to do to get back to using WhatsApp? Very simply you will have to download the official version of the app from the Google Play Store and App Store and back up all your conversations. Here is what to do when your WhatsApp account is locked.

Check which version of WhatsApp you are using

The first thing to do is to figure out why your WhatsApp account is banned. We launch the application and enter the Settings. We press on Help and then on the "App Info" item. A screen will open with the name of the application we are using. If instead of WhatsApp, we find the symbol of WhatsApp Plus or GB WhatsApp, you will need to back up your data and download the official version of the application.

The procedure to follow is different depending on which WhatsApp fake app you are using.

Backing up data to GB WhatsApp

To transfer chats from GB WhatsApp to WhatsApp the procedure to follow is not very simple. As the first thing we have to launch GB WhatsApp, go into Settings, then Chats and finally press Backup Chat. Completed this step we must launch the file manager of the smartphone, find the folder GB WhatsApp and rename it to "WhatsApp".

At this point we can enter the Google Play Store and download the official version of WhatsApp. After going through all the steps for authenticating the phone number, we can decide where to retrieve the backup of the chats from. Just select the folder you just renamed and you're done.

In some cases the procedure may fail. The reason is very simple: WhatsApp does not support fake applications and may not recognize the backup made on GB WhatsApp.

Backing up data on GB WhatsApp

If you have WhatsApp Plus installed and you have WhatsApp profile suspended, the first thing to do is to save the chats. The procedure is very simple and you just need to make the backup from Settings.

Once you have saved the chat history, you need to download the official version of WhatsApp, identify your phone number and then transfer the contents.

How to remove the ban from WhatsApp account

Deleting the fake applications from your smartphone and installing the official version of WhatsApp, you will need to wait for the account suspension to expire before you can return to use the application.
