It is now just a few days before the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, the top-of-the-line phablet of the Korean manufacturer. According to the latest rumors, the Note 10 will be unveiled at an Unpacked event on August 7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This is reported by CNET, citing anonymous sources within the company.
The rumor is credible, given that already many have been talking about the month of August for some time and that last year Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9, giving confirmation of the event only on June 27. Samsung does not confirm or deny the date, but there are few now to believe that the presentation of the Note 10 may be subject to slippage also because, after the slide made with the Galaxy Fold (which will not even come out in July), Samsung now has a big hole than the past at the top of its range. It is also expected that two phablets will be presented: the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10 Pro. No news, neither official nor unofficial, on the prices of the two new Notes.
How will be the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Pro
The latest rumors speak of two devices from the size, respectively, of 6.3 and 6.75 inches. Among the technical details that seem most credible at the moment is the farewell to the 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones and a rear camera department, from three lenses, mounted vertically. The front camera, however, should be positioned in the center of the display, inside a small hole. Both the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Pro should also arrive in 5G version from almost immediately, at least in markets where 5G offers of telephone operators are already active. According to other rumors, however, 5G will be available only on the 6.75-inch Galaxy Note Pro that will also have a Time of Flight sensor.
Postponed the Galaxy Fold
In Samsung's initial plans, the two Galaxy Note 10 were to complete the top of the range of premium smartphones in addition to the Galaxy Fold, i.e. Samsung's first foldable phone. The story, as we know, went differently: the Galaxy Fold has shown problems with the screen already in the test models released to the press and the launch of this product has been repeatedly postponed. Fans of the Korean brand hoped to see it in July, just before the two phablets. But, according to the latest rumors, they will release the Note 10 first and then (no word yet on when) the Galaxy Fold.
