Where to watch the Champions League 2019-2020 on TV and streaming

The Champions League starts again. From September 17, 2019 until the final on May 30, 2020, the most important European clubs will battle for the victory of the cup with the "big ears". There are 32 teams participating in the preliminary rounds: the best two from each of the eight groups will face each other in the round of 16. Then quarters, semifinals and the final (which in this edition will be held in Istanbul).

There are four Italian teams participating in the group stage: Juventus, Napoli, Inter and Atalanta. The first three have the minimum objective of reaching the round of 16, while Atalanta is taking part in the Champions League for the first time: starting from the fourth bracket, it has had a good draw and has some chance of reaching the next round. Juventus, among the favorites for the final victory along with Liverpool (defending champion), Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid, had a complicated draw and will have to face Atletico Madrid, in a rematch of last year's round of 16. A difficult group also for Inter, who will have to fight with Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona for a place in the round of 16. Napoli, on the other hand, drew Liverpool again and will have to watch out for Salzburg.

New developments regarding the 2019-2020 Champions League television rights. Compared to last year, the free-to-air matches return to Mediaset, which will broadcast the best match of the Italians on Tuesday night. The exclusive rights of all Champions League matches, however, are still in the hands of Sky, which has prepared a complete coverage of the event. To see the Champions League 2019 - 2020 on TV you need to tune in to Sky channels (Sky Sport Uno and SkySport Football for the matches of the Italian teams) or Canale 5 (free to air and free). Also available free streaming on Mediaset Play and on SkyGo (only for subscribers to the satellite broadcaster).
