Xiaomi continues to launch devices from the Mi 10 series: coming to the international market the new Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro
They continue to leak rumors about two new Xiaomi smartphones from the Mi 10 series, that is, the one in which fall the latest generation of top of the range of the company. Now it's the turn of the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro, appeared in two pages of Amazon Spain with lots of data sheet and alleged final design.
Thus expands the family of the Mi 10 series, which today already includes the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Lite (for international markets), Mi 10 Lite Zoom (also called Mi 10 Youth Edition) and the last in order of presentation, that is the Mi 10 Ultra (only for the Chinese market, for now). Already appeared on the net in the form of renders, these new high-end Xiaomi smartphones have generated several rumors on the net until the appearance of technical specifications and photos that would show the alleged official design: rounded edges on the front, notch hole for the front camera and three rear cameras. The two devices would be made of glass and metal and this could affect the final price quite a bit.
Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro, technical sheet
We still use the conditional because there are no official confirmations, but the leaked technical sheet would seem to reserve more than one surprise: first of all Xiaomi would have opted for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core SoC for both devices, instead of the more expensive and powerful Snapdragon 865+ initially speculated.
The difference between the two smartphones will be in memory: the Mi 10T will have 6GB of RAM, while the Mi 10T Pro will have 8GB of RAM. The two models are expected to have 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. The screen would be a 6.67-inch IPS LCD, resolution of 2,340×1,080 pixels and refresh rate of 144 Hz, which will make gamers happy.
Not being an OLED screen, but an LCD, the fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side. The rear cameras differ from those of the standard Mi 10: the T Pro version should have a 108 MP main sensor paired with a 20 MP sensor with an ultra-wide lens and a 12 MP tele. The front camera, on the other hand, would be 20 MP.
The standard Mi 10 T, on the other hand, will have the 64 MP main camera while the others will be identical. Both devices will come with a good 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging, while the operating system is expected to be Android 10 with MIUI 12.
Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro, price and release date
No precise rumors about the launch date of Mi 10T and Mi 10 T Pro other than a reference to Xiaomi's intention to arrive "soon" on the global market with these new Xiaomi top of the line devices.
About costs, quite discordant opinions are leaking out on the net: if the photos appeared on Amazon Spain reported the price of 649/699 euros for the Mi 10 T Pro and about 550 euros for the standard version, other sources report different prices and quite lower and more credible, because the ones reported on Amazon are too close to those of the standard Mi 10 which has an AMOLED screen.
