The announcement comes directly from Activision and Sledgehammer Games, the software house that will develop the game and that has already made Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in the past.
For Activision it is a very important moment, the last chapter of Call of Duty was not appreciated by fans who have overwhelmed him with criticism and "I don't like" on YouTube. And for this reason has entrusted the development of Call of Duty WWII to a software house that in the past has already done a good job. For the occasion, Sledgehammer Games has studied World War II for more than two years in order not to make any historiographical error and offer the best possible storyline to gamers. The Second World War is the setting that has always distinguished the Call of Duty series and Activision has decided to go back to the past to gain the support of the users.
What will Call of Duty World War II look like
For the moment there are no big anticipations about what Call of Duty WWII will look like. Sledgehammer Games has only announced that the video game will totally change the face of the series and will introduce some unique innovations.
As for the single player mode, the video game should take gamers through the monumental battles of World War II, starting with the Normandy landings and ending with the battles fought across the ocean. There will be an emphasis on cooperative combat with a mode dedicated exclusively to group battles.
Multiplayer mode maps
As usual, the most important part of video games like Call of Duty World War II is the multiplayer mode. The battles will be set in the places that welcomed the great battles of the Second World War: landing in Normandy and the clashes in the Pacific Ocean.
