Huawei is preparing to launch the new series of low-cost Nova 7 smartphones. According to numerous rumors online, obviously not confirmed by the Chinese giant, on April 7 Huawei will announce three new models of the Nova 7 line, in particular: the Nova 7 SE 5G, the Nova 7 5G and the Nova 7 Pro 5G.

It is always information to be taken with a grain of salt, so much so that other rumors appeared always online claim that the Chinese company will unveil the new low-cost phones not on April 7, but on April 23, a date confirmed by a post of a Chinese blogger published recently on Weibo. The new series of low-cost Huawei Nova 7 smartphones would take the place of the current Nova 6 released last December, a smartphone that has been quite successful thanks to its excellent value for money.

Huawei Nova 7: technical specifications and price

According to unconfirmed rumors from the Chinese company, the Nova 7 series would boast the use of three different processors: the Kirin 820 5G for the Nova 7 SE 5G, the Kirin 985 chipset for the Nova 7 5G and the flagship SoC, the Kirin 990 5G for the Nova 7 Pro 5G. The display could feature a 6.5-inch diagonal, with a small hole on the screen enclosing the front camera. The rear camera is expected to feature a 64-megapixel main sensor. As of now, no further details are known about the photo compartment, in the previous model, the Nova 6, the rear camera consisted of three different sensors, while two were the front cameras.

The Nova 7 SE 5G's battery is expected to support 22.5W fast charging, while the remaining two models are expected to feature 40W fast charging. According to the current yuan exchange rate, the Nova 7 SE 5G could be put on sale in our market at a price of about 250 euros, the Nova 7 5G at about 450 euros and the Nova 7 Pro 5G, top-of-the-line version, at about 550 euros.

Huawei: new phones coming

Not only the Nova 7 series, the Chinese giant is quickly recovering from the stop imposed due to the Covid-19 outbreak and is preparing to launch new models. Expected for April 4 is the launch of the Huawei P40 series and the arrival of new Honor phones, in particular the Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro, not forgetting the newly launched budget smartphone, for now always exclusively in China, Honor 9A.
