Apple Watch 7 soon available: the date

During the presentation, Apple said that Watch Series 7 would be available in the fall: a partner of Apple, now, has pulled out the date

Along with the iPhone 13 range and the new iPads, from the California Streaming event in mid-September also came out the new Apple Watch Series 7, whose most relevant novelty is in the display, about 20 percent larger than that of Series 6 and with an Always on Display 70% brighter.

The only real "problem" of the new smart watch from Cupertino is the availability on the market: Apple in fact during the event has limited itself to say that it would be available "in the fall", a rather vague time period on which Apple has not returned, perhaps with the aim of clarifying it as many hoped. The only California Streaming news to lack a launch date or start of pre-orders was the Apple Watch Series 7 itself, which understandably caused fans to be skeptical.

Apple Watch Series 7: when will it arrive

The rumor about the availability of the Apple Watch Series 7 comes from an important source. In fact, there would be several emails in which Hermes, the famous French fashion company as well as Apple's partner, would claim that the start of Apple Watch Series 7 pre-orders is expected in a week.

"Apple Watch Series 7 will be available for pre-orders starting on October 8, 2021," would have written the "luxury" partner of Apple, and the veracity of these emails would have been confirmed in confidence by an employee of Hermes to colleagues at AppleTrack.

And although there is no official confirmation from Apple, tech whistleblower Jon Prosser said that even according to his sources the market availability of Apple Watch Series 7 would be set for mid-October with the start of the pre-order phase scheduled for next week.

Apple Watch Series 7: what it looks like

With the latest generation of the smartwatch, Apple has decided not to intervene on the chip, and it's not new because it had already happened on the occasion of the transition from Series 4 to Series 5): inside the "engine room" of Apple Watch Series 7 there is the Apple S6 chip from the predecessor.

The biggest change in Apple Watch Series 7 is the screen, which by virtue of thinner edges has a larger display area than ever before: so there's more space for information thanks in part to the new dials. The Apple Watch is available in 41 and 45 mm sizes, which is one millimeter more than in the past.

Apple claims to have significantly improved the construction of its watch: there is a crystal glass that is 50% more resistant than that of Series 6 and boasts IP6X certified dust and liquid resistance, while water resistance according to the WR50 standard remains unchanged. The battery of the Apple Watch Series 7 benefits from a 33% faster recharge: in just 8 minutes you get 8 hours of battery life, for a total of 18 hours claimed.

At the software side, however, there is the ability to monitor e-bike workouts in addition to those with the traditional bike. The Italian price is unknown, but the U.S. price is unchanged from the last generation, so, barring surprises, we can expect the same figures as last year in Italy, so from 439 euros.
