The DJI M200 is a "rugged" drone that is water resistant and suitable in rescue missions or for dangerous jobs. The price will be over 3000 euros
DJI's new saying could be: not what is beautiful is beautiful, but what is functional is beautiful. Yes because the company specializing in the construction of drones has presented at the Mobile World Congress 2017 a new aircraft very powerful, with very aggressive lines, but that performs its work at its best.
Drones are about to become a real business, especially related to small and medium-sized enterprises. In fact, large companies, multinational film companies and photography professionals have already been using these solutions for some time, but now drones could conquer SMEs as well. DJI, one of the leading companies in the sector, not surprisingly has made devices for all needs and in Barcelona presented its new creature: M200. It is a visually powerful drone designed to perform jobs in those places or situations where men or other machines can't get there (check out the photo gallery to find out how it works).

During the presentation at MWC 2017 DJI explained that M200 is inspired by the other model of the house, that Inspire 2 designed for the world of cinema. In addition to the quality cameras and thermo-cameras M200 stands out for its durability. In fact, this drone has an IP43 waterproof rating. It is in fact designed for public safety, the drone will be able to be launched in the midst of fires and similar situations to then alert personnel on the ground. But that's not all. Potrà anche ispezionare da vicino oggetti come turbine eoliche e impianti di trivellazione per individuare i problemi infrastrutturali e di manutenzione. M200 infatti ha anche un completo sistema di fotocamere per la rilevazione di problemi e guasti e un treppiede per raggiungere parti di macchinari difficili da analizzare. Sarà il primo drone con una telecamera puntata in alto. Questo per analizzare la costruzione di ponti e lavori simili.

Autonomia e prezzo
Il drone potrà volare con un’autonomia di circa 38 minuti. Sarà anche dotato di un sistema integrato per l’analisi dei dati in entrata. In una spedizione di salvataggio o in una ricerca in condizioni impervie si potrà già sapere dove il drone ha controllato e dove no. Per quanto riguarda la disponibilità e il prezzo DJI non ha ancora rilasciato nessuna informazione ufficiale. Anche se è quasi scontato che il prezzo supererà i 3000 euro.
