Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A70, a new mid-range smartphone that should be launched on April 11. Check out the features
Their official presentation in Italy should take place on April 10, the day Samsung organized an event. We are talking about the new range of Galaxy A smartphones, on which the South Korean company is betting a lot. After having already made official the release of the Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50, Samsung is also launching the Galaxy A70, a mid-range smartphone with some premium features.
Samsung's strategy is very clear: diversify the market with smartphones all very similar to each other, but which differ in screen size or in the presence or absence of some features. The Galaxy A70 is characterized by having a very large screen and a virtually infinite 4500mAh battery. But that's not all. At the back there is a triple camera with a 32-megapixel main sensor. Samsung for the moment has not announced the price or the countries where the device will be released: the announcement could be made on April 10.
Technical data sheet Galaxy A70
The Galaxy A70 is a smartphone a step below the top of the range. It is not at the level of the various Galaxy S10 or Huawei P30, but it is more performant than many mid-range devices on the market. On board we find an octa-core chipset with to support 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory with the possibility to expand it with a microSD.
The screen is very large: 6.7-inch diagonal with FullHD+ resolution and aspect ratio of 20:9. To make the smartphone ergonomic Samsung has worked a lot on the device's bezels and reduced them to a minimum: we find a small drop notch and very thin side bezels. The fingerprint sensor is inserted under the screen.
The photographic compartment is composed of a triple rear camera with a 32 Megapixel main sensor and an 8 Megapixel secondary one. The third sensor is ToF (Time of Flight) and is used to retrieve depth of field information. The front camera is 32 Megapixel.
Battery of 4500mAh that provides a battery life of more than twenty-four hours. There is support for fast charging at 25W. The smartphone is based on Android 9.0 Pie.
