How to configure Vodafone modem

Do you need to change your modem settings to adapt them to Vodafone's browsing parameters? Here are the items you need to change in your device

You want to activate a Vodafone subscription for your home line and would like to continue using the old modem router you already have? No problem: configuring Vodafone modems is extremely simple. From February 19 are available on the site of the operator all the settings and settings to be changed to be able to surf the web even if you do not use the Vodafone Station.

Vodafone therefore follows the resolution "Modem free" of AGCOM, but adding some indication on the type of network equipment to be used for the connection. "In order to guarantee the correct functioning of the internet service - we read in the page of the Vodafone website - it is necessary that the apparatus you have chosen implements the protocol levels suitable to correctly dialogue with the operator's systems, both at a physical level (modem) and higher (adaptation protocol/encapsulation), until the correct establishment of the IP session (session protocol)". In short, take the manual of the modem that you have at home (or that you want to buy) and check carefully that it respects the paragraphs below.

How to enter the modem router

Before moving on to the parameters to be entered in the router, however, you need to understand how to change the settings of the device. To accomplish this, you'll need to access the router's management panel and sift through the various menu items in search of those for connection configuration.

Tutto facile sinora, vero? Bene.
