VivaVideo, VideoShow and FilmoraGo are among the best apps for editing videos on Android smartphones. Here's how they work
While some time ago editing a video required a minimum of skill, and especially a computer with certain technical features, with the arrival of smartphones everything has become easier.
The official stores, in fact, offer, even for free, hundreds of software with which to have fun transforming your movies. You can cut a frame or insert background music. And that's not all. One of the editing features most used and appreciated by users is the one that lets you add special effects. And there are really many of them. For lovers of emoji, then, there are also stickers. In short, choosing the right application, editing a video with your smartphone has never been so easy and enjoyable. There are many video editing apps for Android, and they vary in functionality and service.
There are many video editing apps for Android, some of which are paid and others are free.
VivaVideo
One of the most popular and used by Android users is VivaVideo, an easy-to-use and feature-rich video editing app. The software, developed by QuVideo, allows you to add many special effects to your clips. With VivaVideo you can add a touch of fantasy to your clips by inserting text, vignettes and transitions.
Like any other video editing app, the program also allows you to trim frames and thus shorten your movies. And that's not all. VivaVideo has a function through which you can invert the color of images and one with which you can decrease or increase the speed of videos.
VivaVideo is very intuitive: just load the video and press on the scissor icon. And from here you'll be able to indulge in editing your videos. The features offered depend on the version you choose: in the paid version (which costs €3.69) there are many effects and no ads.
VideoShow
Another popular video editor in the Google Play Store is VideoShow, which is also very easy to use. Again, the app has many tools for customizing movies. VideoShow allows you to insert many effects, edit images, add music tracks, choosing from those provided for free by the application, or new themes. Besides, it is also possible to introduce stickers, emoji, text or draw directly by hand. In addition, VideoShow also lets you dub the video with your own voice. The program, developed by EnjoyMobi Video Editor Studio, is also useful for sharing edited videos on various social platforms. The basic version of VideoShow is free, while the paid version costs €3.99.
FilmoraGo
The third and very good tool for editing videos from your Android smartphone is FilmoraGo. The app, despite having in-app purchases, is almost entirely free. The software offers a myriad of features through which you can customize your movies. Especially on the effects front, among which there are many vintage filters.
FilmoraGo, like the previous apps, is super easy to use. Just load the video into the program from your smartphone's gallery to start editing. With FilmoraGo you can add text, music (imported from the app's library) or change the speed of the video.
An original feature is the ability to play the video backwards. The app allows you to export and share videos on many platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook and Youtube.
