Sending a message to a number not saved in memory with WhatsApp seems impossible. In reality, there are two very simple ways to get around "the obstacle"
WhatsApp was actually the first application to send the old SMS messages to the attic. How many are those who still use them today? Very few.
The instant messaging app, in fact, has become the preferred tool with which to send messages to contacts. Unfortunately, only to those in your address book. In fact, the application with the green logo does not have a feature that would benefit almost all users, especially the laziest ones: sending a message even to numbers not saved in the smartphone.
And then, not everyone wants to necessarily store a contact.
Of course, someone - rightly - might also think that it is not that much of a sacrifice to add a new contact on WhatsApp.
Just open the app, click on the green icon (bottom right), press New Contact, enter name and phone number, return to the main screen, press on Chat, open the Main Menu and select Update.
Although this action costs nothing, for some, bypassing this step would be better: it could, in fact, save some time. But can it be done?
In spite of the initial premise, with the right methods, sending a message to a person not among your WhatsApp contacts is doable, and there are three ways to get around it.
How to send WhatsApp messages without having the recipient's number
The first and simplest method is to open the application for making calls, enter the number and see if the smartphone offers the possibility of sending a message via WhatsApp.
The "trick", however, does not work on all smartphones, but only on models that integrate this feature.

A questo punto il procedimento è molto semplice e immediato.
Lanciate Click2Chat WhatsApp e scegliete il Paese. Successivamente, sarà sufficiente inserire il numero di telefono della persona (potete fare copia e incolla dal registro chiamate), aggiungere il testo del messaggio e inviarlo.
In alternativa, si può decidere di mandare il messaggio anche dopo, impostando orario e giorno di invio.

Il terzo metodo è un trucchetto – forse poco conosciuto – ma piuttosto semplice e lo si può usare sia su dispositivi Android che IPhone, oltre ad essere privo di divieti, problematiche e non prevedere l’installazione di qualche app.
Quello che c’è da fare è:
- Copiare questa URL – https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=XXXXXXXXXXX – sostituendo alle X il numero di telefono con il prefisso nazionale e senza il + davanti
- Il link completo va incollato nel browser del telefono e si riceverà un messaggio automatico in cui viene richiesta l’autorizzazione a inviare un messaggio WhatsApp al numero
Se la richiesta viene accettata, si verrà indirizzati alla consueta finestra di chat di WhatsApp. Non resta che scrivere il messaggio alla persona, tutto ciò senza aver aggiunto il suo contatto in rubrica.
