The launch of Huawei's new interface is close and also comes an important news about EMUI 11
Huawei is ready to launch the new EMUI 11 user interface that will most likely take place next September 10 during the HDC 2020, the annual conference dedicated to developers. Alongside the presentation of the new HarmonyOS operating system and the new features introduced by the interface.
An image posted on Huawei's official account on Weibo, the Chinese social network, announces that the new interface will be part of an interconnected system. The idea is to create an ecosystem of devices, where the smartphone equipped with EMUI 11 will be able to remotely control for example refrigerator, oven and even the air conditioner. A project that also sees progress for Huawei's HarmonyOS operating system, as explained by CEO Richard Yu who announced that from next year it will also be used for PCs, smartphones, smartwachts and smart bands of the Chinese company.
Huawei EMUI 11, the new feature
Huawei launches clues about the potential of the new EMUI 11 interface also via social networks, showing an image in which the smartphone is connected to other devices that are found every day in our homes. The way in which the Chinese company intends to create this ecosystem has not yet been disclosed, but it hints at new features that will be dedicated precisely to the management of IoT devices directly integrated into EMUI 11, or the project could make the platform available for other devices as well.
The announcement thus confirms the rumors that have been circulating since July about Huawei Distributed Technology, offering for example the ability for the user to manage how to receive an incoming video call to the smartphone: whether to make an audio call using a smart speaker or perhaps a video call by transmitting it directly to a smart TV. In addition, it will offer the ability to share screens between smartphones and computers, thus allowing a fast exchange of data.
