According to the latest rumors, the iPhone 8 will have 3 GB of RAM. Probable launch in September of two other models: the iPhone 7S and the iPhone 7S Plus
The rumors around the iPhone 8, arriving, according to most predictions, next September, do not stop. The recent news, appeared on the net in recent hours, confirm in part the previous leaks, especially with regard to the characteristics of the screen.
According to rumors, in fact, the display, as now discussed for months, will be OLED and very large. There is talk of a 5.8-inch front panel. The most interesting aspect concerns above all the ratio between screen and frame of the phone (screen-to-body ratio), clearly in favor of the first. Apple, according to the incessant rumors, it is very likely, in fact, that follows the example of Samsung and choose to focus almost entirely on the edge-to-edge display, which, certainly, will occupy almost the entire front panel. The screen will be interrupted only to make room for the speakers, the sensors and the front camera.
Will there be Touch ID?
Another point, on which there is much debate, is Touch ID. There are different interpretations: some predictions, corroborated by alleged images, say that it will be integrated into the display, others, however, that it will be placed on the back. The latest rumors do not add any details about it. It is likely, as many say, that Apple may decide to remove the Home button from the screen and replace it with forms of biometric authentication, such as facial recognition or the sensor that allows iris scanning.
Coming maybe three iPhone models
Doubts also on the number of models that will be launched. According to many analysts, Apple may decide, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the first iPhone, to present (and it would be an absolute novelty) simultaneously 3 new models. Alongside the iPhone 8, the true top of the range, the Cupertino-based company would also be willing to introduce the 4.7-inch iPhone 7S and the 5.5-inch iPhone 7S Plus, updated versions of the devices launched last September. The latter models, always moving in the field of hypotheses, will have an LCD screen.
Internal specifications: the iPhone 8 will have 3 GB of RAM
The only model to mount an OLED display, based on the latest rumors, will be the iPhone 8. The rumors, then, provide some details about the technical specifications as well. The top of the range, as well as the iPhone 7S Plus, will have 3 GB of RAM, while the 4.7-inch device will run with 2 GB of RAM. Confirmations also for the photographic compartment, which for the iPhone 8 should include a dual sensor.
The next top of the range of Cupertino will be, if the rumors are reliable, launched in a few colors. The other two models will, instead, have a more extensive color assortment.
