The main character of Shameless is a man, but still struggling with a poor and dysfunctional family. Frank Gallagher is the single father of six children - Fiona, Phillip, Ian, Debbie, Carl and Liam. As Frank struggles with drug addiction and alcoholism, the children are forced to fend for themselves and find their own way.
This comedy-drama series streaming on Netflix takes a humorous look at the events of this dysfunctional family. Each of the 11 seasons focuses on one of the characters trying to find his or her place in the world.
Jane the Virgin
