New rumors continue to arrive on the One Plus 5: the Chinese ssmartphone will mount 8GB of RAM, dual rear camera and Snapdragon 853
Summer is coming and it's time for OnePlus. The Chinese company by now has become one of the benchmarks in the field of top-of-the-line smartphones thanks to devices with excellent value for money. After launching in 2016 the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T, Carl Pei's company is ready to present the OnePlus 5.
The 2017 is a very important year for the smartphone industry. LG, Samsung, and Huawei have raised the bar considerably, and to present a device that strikes a chord with users, you need to develop some truly revolutionary features. To keep up with the competition, OnePlus will have to go one step further, using the latest hardware components on the market and above all a curved, bezel-less screen. The OnePlus 5 should be launched on the market by the end of summer 2017, just before the iPhone 8.

From the latest rumors coming from China, Carl Pei's company has finally chosen the name of the next device: it will not follow the canonical numbering and will go directly to the OnePlus 5. In Chinese numerology, four is an unlucky number, and OnePlus doesn't want to tempt fate.
The OnePlus 5 should mount the latest processor developed by Qualcomm: most likely it will be the Snapdragon 835, but according to some reports, the Chinese company would be tempted to play the Snapdragon 853 card. The chipset will be supported by 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The screen will be 5.5 inches, as on the One Plus 3, but the resolution will be 2560 x 1440 pixels. No word yet on whether it will be curved. The camera compartment will consist of a dual rear camera, with the RGB sensor 23 Megapixels, while the front camera will be 16 Megapixels. The battery will be 4000 mAh.
For the release date and price will have to wait for a few more rumors, but it is very likely that the presentation of the OnePlus 5 will take place during the summer.
