The goal is to challenge competitors such as Huawei and Samsung with excellent products but with a lower price. The three models will be called OnePlus 8 Lite, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. With the OnePlus 8 Lite there is a great return of the company to the mid-range, abandoned previously due to the flop of OnePlus X. Then there will be the Pro model, which could be the first OnePlus smartphone equipped with four cameras. For now, little is known about the three different devices, but the spec sheets will differ in several specifications. Let's see which ones.

OnePlus 8: features of the standard model

This model is placed between Lite and Pro. Its features have already been spread by some unofficial renders that have been circulating on the network for a few months. First of all, the Chinese company reproposes the wide screen surrounded by a very fine frame. The OLED display will be 6.44 inches. OnePlus 8 will mount on a Snapdragon 865, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and will support 5G. The 64PM, 16MP and 12MP triple rear camera will ensure quality photographs, as will the 32MP selfie camera. Finally, the 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging will complete the work.

OnePlus 8 Lite: the real news of 2020

After the failure of OnePlus X, no one would have expected a new mid-range smartphone. Yet, here it is: the Chinese brand is trying again with the Lite version of the device coming in 2020. The goal is to conquer the Indian market with a quality product but at the same time affordable. OnePlus8 Lite will have a 6.4-inch display with FullHD+ resolution.

The processor is not a Qualcomm Snapdragon, but a MediaTek 1000. Despite this it will still have 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of internal storage. The rear will feature a 48MP, 16MP and 12MP triple camera. The 4000 mAh battery will support 30W fast charging.

We finish with the flagship of the trio. OnePlus 8 Pro will have the highest specs in the entire range, starting with the 6.7-inch 2K display and 120Hz refresh rate. On the front it will mount a hole with two frontal lenses. At the rear it will house 4 cameras of 64MP, 16MP and 13MP and a ToF sensor for depth data. Under the shell will be the Snapdragon 865 with 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of internal storage.
