Oppo Reno6 Z: top camera and super memory

A few weeks after the debut of Reno5 Z it's already time to talk about Oppo Reno6 Z, of which rumors have already drawn a rather complete portrait

Last April in Singapore Oppo presented Reno5 Z, a product that in terms of specifications and price belongs to the mid-range of the market. But already now, a few weeks later, rumors have begun to focus on the successor Oppo Reno6 Z, which shows how fast the pace is in the technological landscape.

Of course, there is still no date or period on the release of Oppo Reno6 Z, as opposed to early speculation about how it might look. And not on the aesthetic front, since at least this early information is silent on the features of Oppo's next mid-range Android smartphone, but on the technical specifications front. Today's leak on Oppo Reno6 Z anticipates them with a good level of detail and completeness, and in light of the portrait that is drawn on the smartphone coming out in the coming months is curious the presence of a 60 Hz display that already distinguishes Oppo Reno5 Z. Despite the fact that many competitors, or even lower-end smartphones point to 90 Hz, on this product line Oppo would have chosen to maintain a refresh rate that today can almost be called anachronistic.

The technical portrait of Oppo Reno6 Z

Display 60 Hz then, according to rumors, on Oppo Reno6 Z, a 6.43-inch AMOLED with Full HD+ resolution and protection against bumps and scratches guaranteed by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 from Corning.

Today's rumors are silent on the possible chip on the Oppo Reno6 Z, but it was previously rumored to use a MediaTek Dimensity 800U with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, which should not be expandable. The user interface expected on Oppo Reno6 Z is ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11.

Few doubts and many certainties on the autonomy front: with the 4.310 mAh anticipated by the rumors and with a balanced chip like the Dimensity 800U, Oppo Reno6 Z should not lend the side of doubts about the ability to "close" the workday on a single charge, but the fast charging technology to 33 watts of which they speak could offer valuable support at those junctures in which you use the smartphone more than usual and you need a lot of charge in a short time.

The cameras of Oppo Reno6 Z

On the front section of Oppo Reno6 Z should find place a 32-megapixel camera, while on the opposite surface there would be three: a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and finally a 2-megapixel macro lens.

Of course these are specifications and numbers to be taken with pliers while waiting for further confirmation, but from these first jumps to the eye the similarity with the current Oppo Reno5 Z compared to which improves aspects related to memory and cameras. Certainly in the coming weeks we will know more.
