Realme Pad is coming to Europe at a bargain price and moreover with a substantial novelty compared to the Indian variant
The first Realme-branded Android tablet is ready to arrive in Europe, after being made official in September for the Indian market. Realme Pad has clearly shown to target the low end of the market, trying to center the best compromise between quality and price, an operation that the company of Oppo often succeeds.
The curious and at the same time interesting aspect is that in Europe will not arrive the same product launched in India. It will be identical in terms of aesthetics and also in terms of the components used, except for one: the chip. And the good news is that the European variant of Realme Pad will have one quite better than that which equips the tablet for India: away MediaTek Helio G80, a low-end chip, to make room for the Snapdragon 870, Qualcomm's chip far more performance and adequate to perform even complex operations. All for a price that promises to be very low.
Realme Pad, how it is made
To orchestrate the operations required by the user, as mentioned, there is the SoC Snapdragon 870 from Qualcomm, while to complete the "heart" of Realme Pad 3 there are 4 or 6 GB of RAM along with 32, 64 or 128 GB of storage space that is expandable thanks to support for microSD cards.
The Realme Pad's screen is a 10.4-inch LCD with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels (slightly higher than Full HD) and a "standard" refresh rate of 60 Hz. On the upper bezel there is an 8-megapixel camera for video calls, the same resolution as the only camera that is located on the rear surface.
Appreciable, especially for the price range, the presence on Realme Pad of four speakers that realize the stereo audio with support for Dolby Atmos. There is an input for the 3.5 mm audio jack while the interface is the Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 that includes the Google Kid Space application. The battery, 7,100 mAh, can be recharged through the included 18-watt power adapter. Dimensions of 246.1 x 155.9 x 6.9 mm and weight of 440 grams.
Realme Pad, how much will it cost
There are two versions of Realme Pad, one for those who consider sufficient only Wi-Fi connection and another for those who need a constant internet connection: in this case you can insert a SIM provided that you are willing to give up the microSD slot for the expansion of internal memory.
- Realme Pad 3+32 GB a 239 euro
- Realme Pad 4+64 GB a 259 euro
- Realme Pad 6+128 GB a 289 euro
Ricordiamo che, trattandosi di indiscrezioni e non di comunicazioni ufficiali, questi prezzi potrebbero essere diversi nel momento in cui si concretizzerà l’arrivo di Realme Pad.
