AnTuTu has published the ranking of the best Android smartphones for April 2020. The most powerful is Xiaomi's Mi 10 Pro, followed by the OnePlus 8 Pro
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor is quite a bit more powerful than the Samsung Exynos 990, which in turn is slightly more powerful than last year's Snapdragon 855. That's what emerges from the latest benchmarks from AnTuTu, the well-known platform used to test mobile devices. But the most striking thing about the AnTuTu ranking of April 2020 is that among the ten most powerful smartphones there are models from only four manufacturers.
That is, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Samsung and Asus (with the ROG brand). Another very interesting thing: between the most powerful smartphone and the tenth in the ranking there is 16.5% difference in absolute performance, while between the Snapgdragon 865 and the Exynos 990 there is 12.5% difference. Inoltre gli ultimi due posti in top ten sono occupati da dispositivi del 2019. Infine, va notato anche che non sempre la RAM fa la differenza perché il primo in classifica ha 8 GB di memoria, mentre molti dei suoi concorrenti che si piazzano alcune posizioni sotto hanno 12 GB. Anche a parità di processore Snapdragon 865.
Tra i medio-gamma, invece, i produttori vincenti sono Huawei, Redmi, Realme, Xiaomi e Samsung, con il SoC Kirin 810 che performa meglio di Helio G90T e Snapdragon 720G/730G. In questo caso le differenze di prestazioni tra il miglior medio-gamma e il decimo si attestano intorno al 14,5%, mentre il miglior medio è più lento del 38% rispetto al decimo della classifica degli smartphone ad alte prestazioni, e addirittura del 48% rispetto allo smartphone più potente di aprile 2020.
