Furnite's Season 4 Chapter 2 might start on August 27, but there are many doubts about it. Here's what you need to know
It's now been over two months since Fornite launched Season 3 Chapter 2 and we're now almost at the final stages. Typically, a Fornite season lasts about ten weeks, which can vary depending on any delays or the arrival of new updates. If everything goes according to plan, Chapter 2 Season 4 should begin by the end of August, but Epic Games still does not leak anything.
Some more information, however, comes from the documents that Epic Games has submitted in the lawsuit filed against Apple and Google after the two U.S. giants removed the Fortnite app from their online stores. In fact, in one of the documents attached in which is collected a statement by Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games, it refers to the average duration of the various seasons of Fortnite: ten weeks. But not only that, it also sets a precise date for the arrival of Chapter 2 Season 4: August 27, 2020. Calculating the fact that Season 3 began on June 17, August 27 is a more than plausible date. Doubts, however, that this is really the day are more than one.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4: here's when it starts
According to Epic Games itself, Fornite Season 4 Chapter 2 should start on Thursday, August 27. Nothing strange except that just under ten days are missing and the U.S. software house has not yet made known anything. Neither the theme of the new Season nor whether there will be any changes to the map are known. Even the start of Season 3 Chapter 2 has been delayed several times, postponing it by more than a month.
Season 3 Chapter 2 was supposed to help Fornite relaunch its ambitions, after a not very lucky period that led many streamers to abandon the game, but instead the final effect was opposite. The gameplay of the game seemed to be even slower with inevitable repercussions on the players. The arrival of cars slightly improved the situation, but not by much.
Will Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 be available on the iPhone?
A question many are asking is whether the new season of Fortnite will be available on iOS devices. The answer is very simple: no. As already announced by Apple, with the deletion of the application from the App Store, users will not be able to receive updates to the app. And thus receive the update with all future Fortnite seasons.
