The Hauwei Mate 30 Pro will be unveiled on September 19. On board we will find the Kirin 990 with 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Price around 1000 euros
Set aside the presentation of HarmonyOS, the new multi-platform operating system that Huawei will use in the coming years on smartwatches, tabelets, headphones, smart speakers and many other devices, the Chinese company is back to focus on the development of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, the next top of the range to be launched on the market. Now everything is ready: the features of the smartphone have been outlined and have been anticipated in recent weeks.
The only information that was still missing was the presentation date. An indiscretion of the last few days, however, has also set the day when the Mate 30 Pro will be presented: September 19, 2019. The city where the event will be held is still unknown, but usually Huawei chooses a European capital (London or Paris). Compared to the past, Huawei has anticipated the presentation of the top-of-the-line smartphone that launches in the second half of the year. Usually it took place between late October and early November, but this year it decided to anticipate it to counter the presentation of the iPhone Xi 2019, which should take place between September 10 and 12.
The features of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro
Inside the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will debut the Kirin 990, the new processor made by TSMC that takes advantage of the 7nm+ architecture and allows 20% more transistors than before. What does this mean? That the Kirin 990 will provide more computing power and improved device performance. Supporting the Kirin 990 we find up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage (lower denominations are also expected).
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro will also integrate a standalone 5G modem that guarantees higher performance than the models on the market so far. The 5G model of the smartphone is expected to arrive with a bit of a delay: the market launch is set for December.
The screen of the Mate 30 Pro will have a 6.7-inch diagonal with FullHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The design should be characterized by the presence of a small notch.
The rear photo compartment sees the presence of two 40 Megapixel sensors (main and wide angle), an 8 Megapixel telezoom lens and a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor dedicated to depth of field. The front camera will be 32 Megapixels.
The smartphone will have the fingerprint sensor under the screen and a 4500mAh battery with super-fast charging.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro: release and price
If the presentation of the smartphone will be confirmed for September 19, it is very likely that the device will hit the market for the first week of October. As for the price, it is still all top secret. Making a prediction, it should be around 1000 euros.
