Tivusat, from July 30 a new high definition channel will be available

From July 30, 2020 the Paramount Networks channel will be available on Tivusat also in high definition. Here's how to see it

Tivusat, the satellite platform that allows free viewing of most of the digital terrestrial channels, continues to increase its offer with a new high-definition channel. As of July 30, 2020, Paramount Network HD, a channel dedicated to TV series and movie entertainment, is available. Paramount Network was already present on Tivusat (at number 27), but not in high definition.

For Tivusat's platform, this is another step towards an increasingly wide range of high definition channels, which currently number more than 60. Not forgetting the 7 channels with 4K resolution, a unique feature on the Italian market. On Paramount Network HD, users will be able to watch all the exclusives in Paramount Pictures' catalog, including original films and TV series. Over the past few years, many have come to know the entertainment content broadcast on the channel, and from today, Tivusat users will be able to do so in higher quality, thanks to support for HD. Here's how to watch Paramount Network HD on Tivusat.

Tivusat, Paramount Network HD arrives

Since July 30, 2020 Tivusat users will have noticed something new on channel 27: the new Paramount Network HD channel is available. Talking about a new channel, however, can be misleading: it was already available in the past, but not in high definition. To watch Paramount Network HD you need a Tivusat decoder that supports high definition or a CAM, as well as, of course, a TV set compatible with this type of resolution.

To get access to Paramount Network HD you don't have to pay anything or even change some settings on your decoder: if you have all the necessary requirements, the update will be automatic. If you have problems and you don't receive the new channel, try retuning.

How to receive the Tivusat signal

Tivusat is a satellite platform and as such requires some ad hoc devices to receive the signal. First of all, a satellite dish (even the one used for Sky is fine), a decoder or a CAM to be connected to the TV set and the Tivusat card to activate the service. Card that is completely free. Once all devices are connected, you must orient the dish on the satellite Eutelsat Hotbird 13° East
