New rumors about the new range of iPhones: from the notch that seems to be the usual one, to the screen refresh rate up to 120Hz
The highly anticipated iPhone 12 family is once again at the center of rumors: for the official presentation is missing a lot, but the rumors are already many. One of the most important clues dates back to May 2020, when leaker Jon Prosser revealed the upcoming release of four models, also suggesting their prices. There was also talk of the presence of a tiny notch, news denied in these days.
After so many conflicting revelations, an important news has leaked: the new range of Apple devices will support the display with 120 Hz refresh rate. This is what Ross Young, CEO of DSCC, states. However, the feature will only be limited to the iPhone 12 Pro and the Pro Max. In short, the Cupertino company is certainly not standing idly by and is preparing to launch its new range of Applephones within the year (hopefully). But the rumors don't end here: thanks to CAD files we know something more about the design of the products.
How will the iPhone 12 be: latest generation display
The most awaited feature will arrive: the display with 120 Hz refresh is one of the most sought after features lately by manufacturers increasingly present on top of the range smartphones. As for the Apple smartphone, it seems certain the arrival of the Pro Motion screen on the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 pro Max models, while the base model will have a 60Hz display. But this is not the only news that has triggered users these days.
iPhone 12: new clues about the design
The EverythingApplePro platform has released some images, in CAD format, of the iPhone 12 family and immediately jumped to the eye the presence of a notch equal to previous phones. Another curiosity is related to the photographic compartment consists of three cameras plus the LiDAR sensor: it seems that the latter will be exclusive to the iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7 inches) and then we will not find it on the Pro version (6.1 inches) as was thought.
Looking better at the files jump to the eye edges, which will be flat (the style is reminiscent of the iPhone 4) and the thickness, which will be about 10% less than the previous series. Of course we must consider that these models are not official and Apple could then surprise, once again, users. Often the CAD images are in fact prototypes created for the companies producing covers that in this way can prepare the protections and sell them in conjunction with the launch of the phones. However, the two things don't always coincide. Not to mention that some elements, such as the notch, are not fundamental in the design of a case, so not much attention is paid.
When will the iPhone 12 be released?
Due to the Coronavirus, the arrival on the market of the new iPhone 12 could be delayed. Many leakers have speculated that we could see them in October or November, but everything depends on the progress of the work and especially on the progress made for the functions, which are increasingly sophisticated.
