Time for presentations for Lenovo, which in one fell swoop made official several products including a super powerful laptop and a portable monitor
Despite the context is not the most favorable for the world of technology and in particular for the computer due to the global shortage of chips, Lenovo has made official in recent hours the new generation of Lenovo ThinkPad laptops and Lenovo ThinkVision monitors.
The new range of Lenovo products focuses on pure performance, for example through the ThinkPad X1 Extreme, but also to meet the different needs in terms of performance and budget that the market requires. In fact, not everyone has the need to take full advantage of the hardware, and not everyone has the opportunity (or the desire) to invest large sums on the purchase of a computer. So Lenovo's new ThinkPad and ThinkVision are looking for the ideal combination of features and prices to please as many customers as possible.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme 4Gen
Of all the new products to make the big voice is the fourth-generation ThinkPad X1 Extreme, with Intel Core i9 vPro H-series chip and Nvidia GeForce RTX video card. The Chinese laptop is designed as much for business as for consumer users, but that this is a high-end product is guessed when you look at it, when you notice the carbon fiber chassis that, in addition to the charm, gives compactness and lightness: 17.7 mm thick and 1.8 kg in weight.
Inside there's top-notch hardware: eleventh-generation Intel Core i9 H-series chips with optional vPro platform, Nvidia RTX GPUs ready to take advantage of the 16-inch LCD display with 4K resolution, built-in Dolby Vision HDR technology and brightness up to 600 nits.
Needless to say, it's hard to look at the connectivity compartment and find absences: Intel's Wi-Fi 6E3 and 5G wireless WAN1 (optional), two USB-C 3.1 inputs, one Thunderbolt 4, one HDMI. ThinkPad X1 Extreme supports up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM and can be equipped with two 2TB PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSDs to say goodbye to storage space problems.
Audio has been taken care of by Dolby Atmos specialists while atop the display is a Full HD webcam with infrared that improves the quality of video calls. To keep Lenovo's high-powered notebook at bay, a hybrid cooling system consisting of traditional heat exchange tubes and a vapor chamber has been set up. There is also an air intake in the keyboard that increases the flow of fresh air to the fans.
Finally, the presence of a fingerprint reader on the power button for quick access via Windows Hello is highlighted, while the oversized touchpad (115 cm) promises to simplify the management of open applications. The 90-watt-hour battery should ensure up to 10.7 hours of use on a single charge.

The other news from Lenovo
The other main news made official by Lenovo is the ThinkVision M15 mobile monitor, which comes with an ergonomic height-adjustable stand and a protective case that allows you to carry it around without risking scratches. Lenovo ThinkVision M15 has a 15.6-inch diagonal in 16:9 format and a Full HD resolution. It weighs 860 grams and can be connected via USB-C.
There are also among the novelties the fixed monitor ThinkVision T24m-20 23.8-inch, with Full HD resolution and a USB-C docking station capable of delivering up to 90 watts total, and the webcam Full HD with dual microphone Lenovo ThinkVision MC50 that allows you to turn any monitor into a hub for video conferencing.
Also in this case, no information for the moment about prices and availability for Italy.
